Please note I have two posts today. The first one is the anniversary card for my husband on our very first anniversary. I knew it had to be a good one, and was inspired by this card here by Nicola Heady at Papertrey Ink. Amazing. I wanted mine to be more space like so used Distress inks in purples, blues and blacks to create the background, along with a good smattering of Mr Huey's white spray mist and water to create stars.
The star signs are Taurus and Libra (our star signs) stamped in Archival Jet Black, and the sentiment was embossed in Ranger fine silver embossing powder. All stamps are from the Papertrey Ink Stargazer sets. The tiny stars are cut using the co-ordinating dies from grey/black DCWV glitter paper, and finished with a tiny dot of black enamel accents. It is all added using foam tape to a Bazill silver card stock from Michaels.
I also created a co-ordinating inside sentiment with the star map (all from the same stamp sets) and a few of the left over stars. He loved it!
