I'm doing a super quick post today for the AAA Cards Challenge. This week has been super hectic with baby showers, furniture deliveries, work and I don't know what else!! Oh yes my 2 year anniversary today too :D
My card today is for the Autumn (Fall) AAA Cards Challenge. I had to use my Tim Holtz Bigz die and cut the leaf shape from some watercolor paper i'd colored with various autumnal paints and a selection of Lindy's Stamp Gang Moonshadow mists (these are great as they all have an undertone of brown and are very shimmery).
I coated the leaf in Distress Crackle Paint (rock candy) for a natural dried look.
I popped up the leaf on a background of the Neat and Tangled hoop die cut from brown cardstock, and backed with some real cross stitch white Aida fabric. Over the top i added a Mama Elephant Thanks die cut from gold DCWV glitter cardstock. Some faceted enamel dots (old stash from Michael's) finished off the design, backed on Simon Says Stamp cream card.
