I'm zooming by after a crazy week and an impending Father's Day to prep for, to share my card for our AAA Cards new challenge! This week there is $20 from Stampendous up for grabs! The challenge this week is a really fun one - Googley Eyes :D Remember to keep your card CAS (clean And simple) and head on over to AAA Cards to enter.
My card this week uses the Whale die by Memory Box which I die cut from a scrap of white card stock. I then blended Distress Inks (Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon) over the shape and splattered with water to get the splotchy look. I adhered it to a Simon Says Stamp card base in Fog.
I adhered the main water squirt with a foam square for a touch of dimension and covered them in crystal Stickles. I adhered the googley eye (can't forget that) with Multi Medium Matte by Ranger.
The sentiment is by Power Poppy and I heat embossed it with Hero Arts white embossing powder using Versamark ink. As a final touch I rounded the corners with my WRMK Corner Chomper.
That's it - super quick, simple, CAS, and googley eyed!
