So, onto my card this week. I wanted to make something super CAS, but I also didn't want it to be 'white' white space. I went for a very dark, almost navy blue cardstock by Papertrey ink and embossed it with the AWESOME We R Memory Keepers Next Level embossing folder. I then adhered it to a card base of the same color using double sided tape.
I then diecut the word birthday from some bright green glittery fun foam (adhesive on one side) using a die from PTI's Birthday Trio. I also die cut a PTI speech bubble from Neenah Solar white 80lb card stock and inked the top half edge with Twisted Citron Distress ink. I embossed a Hello sentiment (which for the life of me I cannot remember which set it was from) using Zing embossing powder in Cricket.
To finish the card I adhered the speech bubble with 3M foam tape, adhered the Birthday die cut over the top and added foam tape behind the part of the word that did not overlap the speech bubble to make sure it lay level.
