AAA Cards Challenge - Stencils!

Hi everyone!

It's time for the AAA Cards Challenge again this week - our theme is stencils. The winner of the challenge gets $20 to spend at our generous sponsors Stampendous!

My card is super quick and easy this week.  I used a 120lb Simon Says Stamp white card base and a ripped fishnet stencil from Finnabair.  I masked off a strip using post it tape and sponged on Simon Says Stamp ink in Hot Mama, Lavender and Thistle ink using an ink dauber.

I then diecut from silver DCWV foil cardstock the Simon Says Stamp Meadow Rue flower (I think this has been discontinued :( and adhered it with Ranger Multi Medium Matte over the stencilled pattern.

To finish the card I added a sentiment from Altenew Birthday Greetings in Versafine Onyx Black ink and a few 4mm clear drops from Pretty Pink Posh, adhered with Glossy Accents.

That's it.  Super simple!

We hope you join us this week, don't forget there is a $20 Stampendous voucher up for grabs!

AAA Cards Challenge - Easter!

Hi everyone!

It's an Easter theme at the AAA Cards Challenge today, and there is $20 up for grabs for the winner courtesy of Happy Little Stampers!!

For my card today I used a sketchy painty easter egg wood stamp by Hero Arts stamped with Versamark and heat embossed it in Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder.

I then did a simple watercolor wash with three colors (orange, yellow and red) mixed with Daniel Smith paints using Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock.  I created them using Alizarin Crimson and Azo Yellow.

To finish the card I splattered it using a brush with Dylusions spray in black, and stamped part of the sentiment (Easter) from Simon Says Stamp My Kind of Peep, and the Happy and heart from Simon's I See You stamp set.

My card base was made using 110lb Neenah Solar White and both pieces were rounded using the 1/2" corner chomper. I adhered the piece using 2" double sided tape.

Hope you liked it and that you join in with us this week!  Have a wonderful Easter.
